A Work-Based Learning Software Built by Educators
TitanWBL is work-based learning software built by educators who are done managing CTE programs through spreadsheets and disconnected tools. Designed alongside former district professionals, it gives CTE teams a single, FERPA-compliant system to track student experiences, manage industry partnerships, and meet Perkins V reporting requirements, without the end-of-year scramble.
Our Story
TitanWBL was born out of necessity
Our co-founders, Chris Durham and Alejandro Arcos, brought together two worlds: education and technology. Chris spent years as a CTE Coordinator and CTE Manager inside a large California school district, living firsthand the frustration of managing complex WBL programs with tools never built for the job. When a major life transition led him to step away from his district role, it opened the door to a new path — building the platform he always wished he had.
At the same time, Alejandro, a software developer, partnered with Chris to bring his vision to life in code. Together, they combined Chris's district expertise with Alejandro's technical skills to create work-based learning software built by educators — replacing spreadsheets and manual processes with a streamlined, scalable solution designed for the realities of district life.
Driven by this collaborative spirit and real-world insight, TitanWBL was born — a platform that transforms how schools and districts manage their work-based learning and CTE initiatives. Every feature exists because someone on this team has sat in the seat it was built for.
What TitanWBL Does
TitanWBL is work-based learning software built to help school districts manage the full lifecycle of work-based learning programs. From tracking student participation to managing industry partners and generating compliance reports, TitanWBL replaces manual workflows with a centralized, purpose-built system.
Districts use TitanWBL to coordinate internships, track student progress, and capture employer evaluations — all in real time. The platform gives administrators clear visibility into program performance, making it easy to identify participation gaps, demonstrate impact to leadership, and make data-driven decisions before deadlines force them.
By bringing all WBL data into one place, TitanWBL eliminates the errors that come with disconnected spreadsheets, saves hundreds of hours of administrative work each year, and ensures Perkins V reporting requirements are met without the end-of-year scramble.
Who We Serve
TitanWBL is designed for school districts, county offices of education, and Regional Occupational Programs (ROP) that manage work-based learning and Career Technical Education programs. Whether supporting a single school or an entire district, TitanWBL adapts to different program structures and reporting requirements. The platform is built to support coordinators, administrators, and educators who need a reliable system to manage complex data and demonstrate program success.
As work-based learning programs continue to expand under Perkins V mandates, districts need tools that scale alongside them. TitanWBL provides the flexibility and structure to support long-term program growth while maintaining compliance, data accuracy, and visibility into which students are being served — and which ones aren't.
What sets us apart
Built by people who ran WBL programs
not by vendors guessing at what you need
When Chris sat in the CTE Coordinator seat, he used the same patchwork of spreadsheets and email threads that your team uses today. That experience is why every feature in TitanWBL exists — not because it looked good on a product roadmap, but because we lived the problem it solves.
The TitanWBL team has firsthand experience working inside school districts in the exact roles the platform supports: WBL coordination, CTE administration, and district data analysis.
Because every organization runs WBL differently, TitanWBL is fully configurable, whether you're a large unified district, a county office, or an ROP with a lean team.
